Hi hello to the transformers fans out there! I'm fairly new to the comic scene of tf and wanted to ask stuff

I plan on reading IDW's run from 2005- is that a smart choice or am I going to lose my mind?

Are MTMTE and SG like... Arcs? Of the IDW comics? Or can MTMTE be ready as a standalone? (If not, do I need to read other stuff beforehand?)

If you have recommendations, which ones should I read first :DD

I wanna get diving into comics YEEE (for reference, I also read marvel and DC comics so I understand the complex shits comics go through orz)

I'm so happy right know I could cry.

A long time ago I lost every bit of hope to get back to drawing. Everything I started felt wrong.

I had a break from drawing for over 10 years. And before that I was struggling to get better and I was not happy :(

I see all the amazing art out there and I never used social media before,so I just looked and maybe liked something and then I stumbled over @thelien-art blog.

Who does this super cool challenge where you can draw a pic of her own in your style!!

And she is so nice to all of the artists who do that challenge despite them not being the best or having perfect styles.

So I thought I could do that challenge. And I did.

And she reacted to it! Kind and so wholesome.

And I had a new goal. To do my art and hope that I get some positive reaction,some chatting and to make someone happy with it.

I don't get so many views or hearts or reblogs and I don't think even 1 of my post has reached a 100 whatever. More important was for me

To find mutuals who are happy when I post something.

I don't need many I just wanted some who like me and my stuff.

And I found them. I want to give a special shout out to @erendur @serene-faerie @dfwbwfbbwfbwf @starshadeemilyart and of course @tar-thelien.

I would have stopped drawing like I always do but you guys headcanons, fun comments and interactions make me keep going !

And the Tolkien fandom especially the Silmarillion fandom is so freaking kind. I love being part of this community ❤️

It literally does say a lot about society thag m/m not only outpaces f/f by a stupidly large margin but that so much of it is like. Little Romance Stories. Or long epics. In either scenarios they are experiencing plot beats and characterization be it real or made up. And then f/f tags not only a tenth of the size. But there’ll be like. Say. 300 fics. 278 of them they pop into the stories above to say MALE FRIEND you are being SO RIDICULOUS just tell him you like him! And that is the extent of their involvement. And The other 22 fics are straight up porn. I’m no saying there’s no m/m porn I’m saying they’ve got a solid 30/30/30 split between Good Fanfiction / college aus that will later be stripped to be turned into a gay romance novel / porn. Whereas with femslash everyyyyy time it’s an 80/20 split between mentioned as background in m/m fic to. Porn

Oh I can do ya one better, bud--instead of just drawing them myself, I thought I'd ask @lizardtheartist if they might wanna do a quick collab, and they said yes!! :D it was super fun, here's what all we drew (mine are blue and theirs are pink, except for two tiny exceptions you'll have to guess on your own teehee)

Here's all the stuff we drew!! It's a bit big though so here's some closeups of bits that go together ^^ (as you can see I take forever to draw anything so there's a bit less of mine lmao)

I figure my Spamntax would just kinda show up out of an interdimensional portal or whatever like "hey other universe us, can you watch our kids for a sec? oh nice you have your own so you're used to it!" like with zero notice beforehand because they're assholes, but Ace and Quinn are so excited to have playmates that they just kinda go with it ghkdslflksfhsdh

Taneth chili cheese corn

This tasty dip from Taneth in Hammerfell is a party classic in the region, and is present at every gathering, big or small. Easy to make, just serve with corn chips for an instant hit at your next festivities!

You will need:

1 can (198g) sweetcorn

125g cream cheese (I like Snøfrisk, a Norwegian goat cream cheese, but Philadelphia works well too)

1/2 cup cheddar, grated

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

2 fresh jalapeños or other chilis of choice, diced finely (keep or remove seeds depending on your spice tolerance!)

1 tsp smoked paprika powder

1/2 tsp cayenne powder (I also like Trinidad Scorpion powder, for the more adventurous!)

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp sugar

1 tbsp butter, for frying

Corn chips, to serve

Method:

Preheat oven to 180C/356F.

In a pan, lightly fry the corn in butter until ever so lightly browned. Set aside.

In an oven-proof dish, combine the cheeses, chilis, spices, and sugar. Mix together until well-combined, then add the corn and stir through thoroughly.

Bake for 20 minutes until medium brown on top, remove from the oven to cool for at least 10 minutes, and serve warm with corn chips.

Do you have plans on finishing the Yujikiri reunion fic on your A03 or is that on hold indefinitely? I just wanted to ask cause I've been on the edge of my seat in anticipation. Also let me just say I love your art and am also excited for your original works too! All your characters are interesting and the character designs are AMAZING 💕💕💕

I do have plans to finish it, yes!! I can't say when I'll work on it again since I'm not in the SAO fandom right now but I'm sure once I go back and rewatch the series and get back into it I'll be dusting the cobwebs off that fic :"D

Yujikiri is one of my favorite ships of all time and I also just. Really love that fic so I would like to finish it someday! I'm glad you're enjoying it too 👉👈

I don't know how to tell you this but your artwork you submitted for geekdweek is now owned by netflix

Ehh I actually don't really consider that I "own" my fanart anyways, because technically the characters do belong to whoever owns the IP of the source material, and I can't profit off of them. Same reason why I allow reposts on other sites as long as I'm credited as the artist. I mostly post fanart online just to share my visions and interests and to see people's reactions.
